IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ROMAINE LETTUCE

Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a warning to consumers regarding an outbreak of E. coli in the United States.  According to the CDC: "Information collected to date indicates that romaine lettuce from the Yuma, Arizona growing region could be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7 and could make people sick."

Etiwanda Child Nutrition does not serve any of the romaine lettuce included in this warning.

A statement from our romaine lettuce supplier confirming this can be found here.

The CDC is advising you to not eat or buy romaine lettuce unless you can confirm it is not from the Yuma, Arizona, growing region.  Please click here for the the full CDC Advice to Consumers page regarding this ongoing issue.
