Going Green Menus

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

We recently experienced a much higher number of last-minute menu changes than usual due to issues with our primary food distributor.  We have switched suppliers and so these issues have been resolved.

We would like to sincerely thank all parents and students for their understanding and patience during this transition!

Changes to our posted menu should be rare and infrequent going forward.  Should you need to verify lunch options being offered on a particular day, please feel free to contact the kitchen manager at your student's school site.  Contact information for our managers can be found here.

** Due to a power outage that ran from Sunday night into Monday morning (3/26 through 3/27), Etiwanda Intermediate School may have a higher than usual number of menu changes the week of March 27 through March 31.

** Due to the unusually wet winter this year, good quality romaine lettuce is no longer available from our suppliers.  Until further notice, we will be substituting a different lettuce in any menu items that normally feature romaine.

Elementary - A child can charge his/her lunch no more than 3 times.  After 3 charges, the child will be provided a salad, fruit and drink.  A child will be able to do this only 2 times.  Until lunch loans have been repaid, please provide lunch from home.  A child is reminded when he/she is down to his/her last lunch.  Consider using EZSchoolPay to track your child's lunch balance and make payments to their account.

Intermediate - Intermediate students are not permitted to charge.

**PEANUTS, PEANUT PRODUCTS AND OTHER NUTS:  To the best of our knowledge, the Etiwanda School District does not serve peanuts or peanut products, etc. in our school lunch program.  We cannot guarantee that there has been no cross-contamination at the vendor production plants.
