Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a warning to consumers regarding an outbreak of E. coli in the United States. CDC is advising that "U.S. consumers not eat any romaine lettuce, and retailers and restaurants not serve or sell any, until we learn more about the outbreak."

Etiwanda Child Nutrition will not be serving any romaine lettuce while this warning is in effect.

Note that the CDC is advising you to not purchase or eat any romaine lettuce at this time, and to throw out any you may have already purchased.  Please click here for the full CDC Food Safety Alert page regarding this ongoing issue.
